CIF: Bucks set for game against last place Kansas City

National Sports

The Bismarck Bucks have won their last two games, and if they can win again on Saturday, they will have accomplished a first this season: a winning streak.

The past two victories have been thrilling. Each game was at home and came down to the final seconds.

This week, Bismarck is on the road for the first time in three weeks. The Bucks faces the Kansas City Phantoms, a team Bismarck destroyed to start the season. Since this is the second meeting the guys know what to expect.

“Up front they do a few things,” quarterback Aaron Aiken said, “they do apply pressure. Secondary wise they have some guys that can play late on the ball and have quickness. They’ll come up and tackle.”

A win allows the Bucks to stay in second place in the North Division.
