Class A Basketball: St. Mary’s takes two, Legacy upset

In Class A basketball, St. Mary’s swept Dickinson on Jan. 16, while Legacy was upset on the road in Minot.

On the girls’ side, St. Mary’s jumped out to a huge lead and coasted to a 64-25 victory.

In the boys’ game, the Saints overcame an early deficit to win by double digits. St. Mary’s won, 71-61.

Up in Minot, Legacy could not maintain their early lead over Minot High. The Sabers lost their second straight game, 50 to 44.
