The Fargo Davies girls and the Bismarck High boys lead after Day 1 of competition at the Class A 2018 North Dakota State Track & Field Championship Meet on May 25.
In the pole vault, Bismarck High’s Blythe Ehrmantraut and Dickinson’s Lexi Jordheim cleared 10-foot-6, they finished second and third, respectively.
Over in shotput, Mckenna Shelkey for Bismarck with her first throw in the final round, and it’s over 36 feet, she’d finish second.
As for the boys, Century’s Evan Sayler had a big day. He finished second in the 1600m run and anchored the win for the Pats in the 4x800m relay.
The State track meet concludes tomorrow.
