Class B Boys State: Shiloh Christian one win from first ever state title, Beulah to play for fifth

The Shiloh Christian boys basketball team advanced to the Class B Boys Basketball State Tournament title game after a 64-51 win over Richland in the semifinals. Beulah will play for fifth place.

Shiloh Christian used a late surge to get past Richland, 64-51.

In the second semifinal, Bishop Ryan and Thompson needed overtime. Bishop Ryan’s last-ditch effort with four seconds left was unsuccessful. Thompson won, 68-65.

The championship game will see Shiloh Christian and Thompson tomorrow at 8 p.m.

In the third place game, Bishop Ryan faces Richland at 6 p.m.

In the consolation bracket, Beulah picked up their first win of the tournament. Beulah defeated Powers Lake, 71-44. 

In the other semifinal, Ellendale and New Rockford-Sheyenne, New Rockford-Sheyenne jumped out to a big lead, but had to hang on for a 59-55 victory.

The fifth place game Beulah and New Rockford-Shyenne square off. For seventh place, Powers Lakes seeks their first win of the tournament against Ellendale.
