The top two seeds are moving on to the championship in the Class B Southwest Sub Region Tournament.
Heart River and Watford City each won their games in Beulah on Tuesday to qualify for the state tournament and reach the championship game, which will be Thursday at 6 p.m.
In the first round, host team Beulah earned a 10-9 win over Washburn after falling behind early 6-0. The Miners then faced the Cougars, who defeated them 12-5.
The other first round match was between Wilton-Wing and Central McLean. Wilton-wing grabbed a 10-3 win but then fell to Watford City 6-4.
Two other state qualifier spots remain up for grabs. Wilton-Wing will play Washburn for one of those spots on Thursday at 2 p.m., and Beulah and Central McLean will follow them to battle for the last spot.
