Coll FBall: U-Mary hopes finishing drives leads to first win

The University of Mary football team may still be winless on the season, but their spirits are high as they enter Week 6.

On Saturday, the Maraduers travel to Winona for date with Winona state. U-Mary is still looking for their first win of the season.

The offense has been able to move the ball, but they are working on finishing drives.

“We’ve been able to pick up a couple of first downs,” head coach Craig Bagnell said, “but then we stall out and have to punt. That’s something where we have to get a little more creative on third down and give our kids a shot to succeed.”

U-Mary’s game at Winona State is scheduled to kick off at 2 p.m.
