Tomorrow, the Bismarck State baseball team starts the quest to win the Mon-Dak Conference tournament.
BSC compiled an overall record of 28-7 and a 14-4 record in conference play. Bismarck State will be the No. 2 seed for this weekend’s tournament and earned an opening round bye.
If you look at the Mystics over the past 10 games, they are 9-1. Their only defeat was a 2-1 loss to Williston State on April 27.
Assistant Coach Justin Oliver said this group is impressive because they put the team above their own stat lines.
“They’re pulling the rope in the same direction,” assistant coach Justin Oliver said. “So you have this synergy from day one when we started in September that was contagious. The guys enjoy playing for each other. They enjoy seeing others have success on the team. If you have that, you can go far.”
On Friday, in the first round of the Mon-Dak Conference Tournament… BSC will play the winner of the No. 3 Williston State and No. 6 Dakota College of Bottineau at 5:30 p.m.
