In college baseball, the University of Mary split a Northern Sun conference matchup with Concordia-St. Paul. At the junior college level, BSC defeated Presentation College’s JV squad on Apr. 3.
U-Mary and Concordia-St. Paul started their doubleheader at 10 a.m. at the Sanford Sports Complex on the campus of Legacy High school. Behind a solid pitching performance from freshman Jonathan Draheim, U-Mary won the first game, 6-1. In the second game, U-Mary came up one run short. The Marauders fell, 7-6.
At the junior college level, Bismarck State faced Presentation College at Dwyer Field on the campus of Shiloh Christian School. In the first game, BSC pitchers combined on a shut out in a 7-0 win. BSC was able to complete the sweep in the second game with a 12-6 win. BSC is now 16-3 on the season.
