North Dakota State defeated Eastern Washington 40-13 at Roos Field Saturday afternoon.

The Bison scored a field goal to pen thing sup, but EWU answered with a Gage Gubrud two-yard touchdown run to make it 7-3 Eagles.
NDSU’s Lance Dunn got the lead back with a 23-yard rushing touchdown out, but the Bison missed the extra point.
In the second quarter with the Eagles up 10-9, Bruce Anderson provided a spark with a 44-yard rushing touchdown to put the Bison back in front 16-10.
Right before the half, Robbie Grimsley came up with his second interception of the day to set up a Cam Pedersen field goal. NDSU led 19-10 at the half, and the Bison went on to win 40-13.
