For the University of Mary football team, we are less than 48 hours away from the first Spring game in the Craig Bagnell era.
I talked to the players today and they all said the same thing: They are itching for Saturday so they can go full contact.
For the players, practice is getting a little old.
“Right away it was a little slow learning,” Junior right guard Rory Olson said. “A lot of new stuff going in. A big change from last year. As the weeks progressed, it’s gotten a lot better. People are starting to pick up their stuff and it’s starting to look a lot better.”
On April 14, U-Mary’s Spring game will take at the Community Bowl at 2:30 p.m.
