College Volleyball: Dickinson State still looking for leadership after graduating two key seniors

National Sports

With just one win in nine matches, the Dickinson State Volleyball has had a difficult start to the 2018 season.

The Blue Hawks rank near the bottom of the North Star in several key categories, and the team also has to replace two of its top defenders who graduated after last season, which is easier said than done.

“Losing those two was definitely tough for the leadership aspect of it,” DSU head volleyball coach Jennifer Hartman, “but I definitely think we recruited their position again. It’s just a matter of getting them to all play together and click together, especially in our back row. Our whole back row is new now.”

DSU will go for their second win of the season tonight at Valley City State.
