UMary finds itself in the middle of its first losing streak of the young season.
The Marauders have lost their last four matches, which were all at last weekend’s Augie Invite in Sioux Falls.
The bump in the road has come after UMary started the year 3-1 at the MSU Moorhead Invite.
Setter Sydney Murphy says that first weekend of play is a better indicator of what this team is capable of.
“We got to bring all the stuff that we’d practiced all throughout spring and last winter,” sophomore setter Sydney Murphy said. “With a new coach and everything, so we got to put that all together. It was super exciting, but I think we’re still looking for more. We’re excited to see where it goes. There’s still so much more to be done and so much more work to be done throughout the season.”
The Marauders open conference play tonight at Northern State.
