National Sports

The Minot State University Beavers women’s soccer team earned yet another split this past weekend.

On Friday, MSU started out with an impressive 8-0 home victory over the University of Minnesota-Crookston

On Sunday, the Beavers were unable to crack the scoreboard in a 1-0 road loss against Bemidji State.

After a season full of weekend splits, head coach Jason Spain feels the time is now. to start picking up two consecutive wins in order to make a run at another conference title

“We got to take care of Saturday,” Spain said, “then we got to take care of Sunday one by one. And, we go to start getting sixes or, in the my 21 years this might be the first time we miss the postseason.”

On Saturday, the Beavers host Sioux Falls at noon. On Sunday, they host Southwest Minnesota State at 1 p.m.
