Corbett Field finally ready

National Sports

After months of anticipation to play on a new field surface, the Minot State baseball team will christen in the era of artificial turf at Corbett Field. After playing all of their games away from home the Beavers will host Bemidji State tomorrow in a doubleheader. Recent weather has been warm enough to melt away much of the snow covering the field and because the field was installed last fall no one has had the opportunity to play on the new surface. But Minot State and Minot High both will play tomorrow with Bishop Ryan scheduled to play on Friday.
