Funnon Barker is adamant that the past is the past. He doesn’t want to talk about the losses the team faces because of graduation but he can’t deny the fact that
Shiloh just keeps reloading year after year despite those losses. This year will be a big test as 3 year starting quarterback Zac Martin moves on to Bismarck, State, Nick Pfaff steps in under center. The Skyhawks don’t do much passing but the quarterback is expected to get out and run in this offense. Pfaff can do that and he credits the guys up front for making him the athletic weapon he is.

“They make me better. Without that line blocking for me, I’m gonna get sacked and hit every time. I’m not going to go a yard!. They’re my weapon,”
(Funnon Barker, coach)
“It’s going to be a team approach. Zac did a lot of great things for us. he was a four year starter, 3 at quarterback. You’re right. You don’t just replace that overnight but we got a lot of guys that are capable, have put in a lot of work and we’ll be okay.”
Shiloh’s first game is August 20th against New Salem-Glen Ullin
