Girls HS Soccer: Bismarck High projects as dangerous team in 2019

National Sports

In girls high school soccer, Bismarck High had its share of adversity in 2018 going just 5-7-2 for fifth place in the West.

Inexperience was a factor, as sophomores made up almost half of the entire roster.

Now with another year behind them, the Demons project to be more dangerous in the WDA.
All-State attackers Elle Hill and Rayni Vorachek will be back to lead the Demons at the front. The two juniors scored 11 of the team’s 19 goals in region play, and Coach Andy Foss says each of them can beat opposing back lines in different ways.

“We kind of moved Elle a little bit around, all over the middle of the field. she placed some midfield, and she played up top a little bit. Rayni is just really pacey, really skilled player. She’s comfortable out on the wing out there.”

Bismarck’s first match is April 9 against Legacy.
