In girls high school soccer, tonight could be a season-defining moment for the Legacy Sabers.
Legacy could vault into a tie for fourth place with a win against Century and depending on the result of the Bismarck-Jamestown match which is also tonight.
Fourth place would be the highest standing position the program has experienced this late in the season.
“I think that we have shown a lot of improvement,” senior defensemen Skye Hertel said, “even though some of these girls haven’t played this year before. I’ve already seen improvement with coaching and other girls that have played varsity before.”
Legacy’s game with Century is tonight at 8 p.m. at Legacy.
