Girls HS Tennis: Bismarck High off to solid start in quest for consecutive State tournament berths

National Sports

Bismarck High looks on track to earn a second consecutive state tournament berth.

The Demons own a 2-1 record in WDA play after last night’s 6-3 win over Century. The Demons are one of the few teams that return a lot of seniors and plenty of experience.

“I think that’s really going to push us this season — our work ethic, senior Sydney Helgeson said. “We do have a lot of upperclassmen on the team and do want to go to State again. I think if we really work hard we can get there.”

Bismarck High plays St. Mary on Thursday at 4:15 p.m.
