In girls’ high school track and field, Bismarck High senior Bailee Schell is having a fantastic year.
She has won the girls’ discus three times. Her lowest finish was fourth, which was last week at the Charlie Denton Relays.
Her best throw came at the BPS Triangular meet at 118 feet and five inches.
Her coach Tim Kolsrud thinks she has a lot of room to grow.
“I know she’s got a goal and I’m going to let her go after it and not jinx here with any number,” Kolsrud said. “I think she’s got a good pop left in her and she’s going to hit one here soon.”
The next meet for Bailee and Bismarck High is Friday at the West Fargo Packer Relays.
