Gross, Heaton headline Gorilla Wrestling technique camp

National Sports

National champion Seth Gross and Cade and junior national champion Ronna Heaton led over 100 young wrestlers in a two-day technique camp at Century High School.

Gorilla Wrestling put on the event as a means to promote wrestling in general as well as the growth of women’s wrestling. Both Gross and Heaton told KX Sports that sharing their passion for the sport with boys and girls all over the country is beyond rewarding.

“It’s just good giving back a little bit and spending time with these young kids,” Gross said. “I know when I was that age, it kind of inspired me seeing these guys at camps–seeing bigger names who have done well. Just being able to do it myself has been an awesome experience.”
