The Bison won their fourth straight region 4 title in 2014. After losing it in 2015, Hazen brought the title back and start their playoff journey this weekend.
Their high powered offense put up numbers, only scoring less than 40 points twice in their Class A match-ups. The Bison’s defense recorded two shutouts in the course of the season as well.
Hazen had a bye week in round one of playoffs and our now itching to get back on the field, ready for the tall task at hand, that being Bishop Ryan this Saturday.
(Quentin Corcoran, Senior WR/ CB) “Wer’e definitely itching to get back on the field. It’s the best game in the world and we’re going to go out there and going to go play a heck of a game. Bishop Ryan, they’re a tough team and we’re going to give it our all.
(Wyatt Carr, Senior QB/ LB) “They’re explosive, they’re big, they’re athletic, everything a football team should be. It’s going to be an honor to play them but we’re going to go out there and give it our best and hopefully come out on top.”
(Bret Johnsrud, Head Coach) “Theyre a very explosive team. They’re very well-coached. They do a lot of things really well, so that is going to be one of our challenges. Any time you go against a good opponent, it comes down to what you’re doing and that’s what we focus on. We’re not focused on what they’re doingor how they’re going to attack us. We’re just focused on what we can control and that’s what we’re going to prep for and do what we can do to make sure we come out on top with a win.”
