In non-counter action, Century defeated Mandan in Game 1, 3-1. In Game 2, a bad second inning doomed Mandan. The Braves gave up seven runs. Mandan would go on to lose, 7-0.

Over at Legacy, the Sabers struggled for much of Game 1 against Watford City. However, the Sabers rallied for a 3-1 win. In the second game, Legacy earned a shutout victory, 2-0.

Early in the afternoon, Bismarck High suffered a sweep at the hands of Williston at Haaland Field. In the first contest, Bismarck was able to bring the go-ahead run to the plate in the top of the seventh, but a fly out to center ended the game. The Demons lost the second game, 12-0.
