HS Baseball: Century, Mandan, Minot pick up WDA sweeps

In high school baseball, Century, Mandan and Minot picked up WDA sweeps on May 7.

In a matchup of the No. 3 and 4 teams in the standings, Century got the better of Legacy. In the first game, the Patriots won, 11-0. In the second game, Century completed the sweep behind a 5-0 victory.

Over at Haaland field in Bismarck, Mandan was the home team as they took on Jamestown. Mandan swept Jamestown. The Braves won the first game, 5-3, and the second game, 11-1.

Over at Municipal Ballpark, St. Mary’s hosted Minot. Minot jumped out to an early lead and never looked back in both games. Minot won Game 1, 11-0, and Game 2, 11-1.
