The Legacy baseball team was back on the diamond today. They had big match up against the residents of the Touchmark senior living facility.
The Sabers faced off with the residents in a beanbag baseball tournament. The players also had a barbeque with the seniors before the game.
Last year, the residents showed the young kids who was boss as they won the matchup. Dorothy Krogen is the scorekeeper for Touchmark and she says the tournament is all good fun.
“I think that we think that’s really fun,” Korgen said. “It’s really fun. It makes us feel younger and feel kind of in the grove. I enjoy the young people and I enjoy the fact that I’m part of this group.”
Touchmark defeated Legacy in a walk-off homer. So that’s back to back wins for the residents.
