The St. Mary’s baseball team hopes a year of experience makes a world of difference.
Last season, the Saints went 5-26.
However, two of those wins came against Minot, one of the best teams in the state last year.
This season, St. Mary’s hopes to have one of the fastest and most athletics outfields in North Dakota.
The outfield is led by senior Jonah Krebs.
“We have a really competitive team,” Jonah Krebs said. “We want to win and we hate to lose. I think we’ll have a really good year. It just depends on how the guys react to each game.”
St. Mary’s first game of the season at Jamestown has been postponed.
The Saints hope to get on field Friday against Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood.
