Legacy and Century basketball each earned sweeps at home on Friday, with Legacy defeating Dickinson and Century defeating Williston.
Both Century teams took early leads and kept on the pressure on both ends of the court. The boys team beat Williston 76-47, and the girls team earned a 79-24 victory.
Legacy boys basketball looked in control all night against Dickinson, as the Sabers won 83-51 to improve to 4-5 on the year. The girls team, meanwhile, fell behind early to their Dickinson counterparts, but the defending state champion Sabers rallied to please the home crowd and complete the sweep 64-47.
Both Legacy teams will take on Williston tomorrow afternoon, while both Century and Dickinson squads will face off on Tuesday.
Elsewhere in the WDA, St. Mary’s boys basketball earned their first win of the season by beating Watford City 91-58, and Bismarck High girls basketball fell in overtime 67-62 to Minot.
