HS FBall: Beulah gaining confidence with each week

Sports

For most of the regular season, Beulah football told us they weren’t playing up to their full potential. But last weekend may have changed that viewpoint.

Kaleb McGraw rushed for more than 200 yards as the Miners upset Region 3 champion Bishop Ryan 33-14.

In the quarterfinals, they’ll get a rematch with rival Dickinson Trinity, who beat them 24-6 just a few weeks ago. So for the Miners, there’s no shortage of motivation.

“We’re excited, man,” senior running back Kaleb McGraw said. “We’re really excited. We just want to go out there and get revenge.”

“I think we feel some confidence that we can make a run at this thing,” head coach Jim Dooley said. “There’s probably–well at this point I’d say there’s eight teams capable of winning it, so why not us?”

Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. MST in Dickinson.
