HS FBall: Bowman County’s high-flying offense set for home playoff debut

Sports

Bowman County football missed out on the 2017 playoffs because of a tiebreaker, but this year’s team bounced back from that disappointment in a big way–they posted an undefeated regular season.

Under new offensive coordinator Nick Walker, the Bulldogs have scored at least 30 points in every game this season.

Head Coach Todd Frie tells us this Saturday will be Bowman’s first home playoff game in program history, and it means a lot to this veteran senior class.

“It’s a big thing for the community,” said senior linebacker Parker Lambourn said, “that’s for sure. A lot of people are backing us up. Nobody’s really experienced this here and it’s a new thing. Hopefully we can do the right thing and win.”

The Bulldogs take on the Nedrose Cardinals, who are 3-5 this season. The game is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. mountain time in Bowman.
