HS FBall: Dickinson encouraged by last performance

National Sports

Dickinson High Football is 0-3 this season, but the year could be turning around for the Midgets.

In last Friday’s 30-22 loss to Legacy, the offensive exploded for 22 points in the second half and the defense didn’t allow any points.

The performance is a light at the end of the tunnel and John Tuchscherer definitely sees it as a positive.

“We challenged them at halftime,” John Tuchscherer said. “‘Are we going to let this get out of hand? Or are we going to go out and fight?’ And our kids did that. That’s definitely something I’m proud of.”

On Friday, Dickinson will be in the capital city taking on Century, the defending class AAA state champs
