National Sports

In high school football, Kidder County is back where they belong. For the third straight season, the Wolves are in the state playoffs.

Kidder County earned the No. 3 seed ouf of Region 3.

What is scary about the Wolves is how young their skill players are on this team? Their quarterback, Jonah Harter, is a sophomore their running backs, Isaiah Harter and Parker Hager, are juniors and on defense — Tristen Patzner, Blake Pfaff and Payton Cauthon — are also sophomores.

“We have are a really young team,” Subart said. “We’ve been able to overcome teams with bigger size than us. There’s a lot of potential in this team. We know that when we leave this team will make the playoffs next year.”

This Saturday, Kidder County host Hankinson at 2 p.m.
