HS FBall: St. Mary’s wins fourth state title in five years

St. Mary’s won their fourth state title in the last five years when they defeated Fargo Shanley 31-12 in the Class AA championship.

The game was a defensive battle until the later parts of the second quarter. St. Mary’s scored 14 points before halftime and led 14-0 at the break.

In the second half, the Saints outscored Shanley 17-12 over the last 24 minutes.

St. Mary’s wins their fourth Class AA state championship.
