HS Football: Bismarck High’s defensive line drawing the attention of opposing coaches

National Sports

The Bismarck High Demons are the No .1 ranked team in Class AAA and opponents are having a hard time gaining yards against there defense.

Specifically, there defensive line.

The past two weeks, Bismarck played West Fargo and Minot. Both schools tried to use a long cadence to slow down the Demons’ front four.

Bismarck head coach Mark Gibson says his D-Linemen better get use to coaches game planning to stop them.

“I think it’s going to be one of those things that we see a lot more of,” Gibson said. “A lot of change of cadence. They are going to try to negate our defensive line. I think that’s one thing our kids have to learn as we go. We’ve got kind of an itchy trigger.”

This week, Bismarck travels to Mandan for a date with the Braves.
