Century football enters the Class AAA state tournament as the West’s No. 2 seed.
The Patriots have lost just one game and finished off the regular season with a 42-0 win over fellow playoff team Legacy.
Now the focus is on the No. 3 seed out of the East, Fargo South. Coach Ron Wingenbach says the Bruins have plenty of offensive weapons that the top scoring defense in the state will have to be ready for.
“They’re a little knocked up in the backfield,” head coach Ron Wingenbach said, “but whoever they put up in the backfield I’m sure will have some speed, as well. I think the one theme here is they’ve got some speed at certain positions that we’ve got to make sure we’re aware of.”
The Patriots take on the Bruins tomorrow at home at 4:30 p.m.
