Diamonte Stugelmeyer is headed to U-Mary. They recruited him as a running back.
Jacob Hudson will travel a little farther away from home and attend MSU-Moorhead. He was recruited as a linebacker.
Both guys had good careers at Legacy and now are ready to try their hand at college ball.
“It feels really good,” Hudson said. “Not everyone gets a chance to play at the college football. I’m getting the chance to do that and it feels pretty good.”
It’s here in town,” Stugelmeyer said. “I liked what [Coach] Craig [Bagnell] how he talked about the program and where they are going in the next few years.”
Stugelmeyer and Hudson will be the seventh and eighth players from Legacy to play in college.
