HS Football: Trinity looks for quarterfinal win against Region 4 rival Beulah

National Sports

In Class A football, Trinity is off to an impressive start in this year’s playoffs.

The Titans demolished an athletic Des Lacs-Burlington team 57-13 last week. Senior Kaden Kuntz once again led the charge for the Titans, scoring four total touchdowns, including a 79-yard kickoff return.

Head coach John Odermann says Kuntz’s core strength to extend plays pays off for the team in more ways than one.

“Being able to get away from a tackle and things like that makes those other kids work hard because everybody on the team knows that if I get this one block or I block for this one more second, Kaden could bust this and we could get six,” head coach John Odermann said.

Trinity will battle rival Beulah this Saturday in the Class A quarterfinals. Kickoff at the Biesiot Activities Center is set for 1 p.m. MST.
