For a team with a completely new starting five, Bismarck High girls basketball is off to a good start.
The Demons went 3-1 in their first four games before before losing by nine to a tough Century team at the Event Center.
But they then bounced back in a big way up at Belcourt, as they earned a 50-point win.
A 4-2 start from an inexperienced team may surprise some, but if you ask the players, they’ll tell you they’re not surprised at all.
“I think it’s kind of expected,” forward Megan Henderson said. “I have a lot of faith in our team, so I think we’ll be good this season. We have a lot of talent on this team even though we’re short and inexperienced.”
The Demons travel to Wyoming for the Camel Invite beginning on Dec. 28.
