Mandan boys’ soccer defeated Bismarck High 4-2 in Mandan Thursday night. It is Mandan’s first win over Bismarck since October of 2002.

Mandan led 2-1 at the half, and the team came out of the locker room hungry to seal the historic win. Evan Arenz made the score 3-1 with by tucking a low shot to the back of the net from just over 20 yards out.

Less than 20 minutes later, winger Andrew Nagel tore through the Demon’s defense and slotted home the Braves’ fourth goal of the night to make it 4-1.

Bismarck added a consolation goal but could not find enough offense to catch up completely.

Mandan is now 2-1 in conference play this season. Bismarck is 3-2.
