The Dickinson softball team has to wait just a bit longer to defend their WDA regular season title.
Expectations have been high ever since Amanda Mickey took over as head coach several years ago.
Mickey says the region will be full of tough competition this year, but the Coach is confident her players will continue to set the standard in the league.
“Personally,” Mickey said, “I think we have reached that goal almost every single year, if not surpassing it. Last year we struggled a little bit, but this year we hope to compete with all the top dogs in the WDA.”
The Midgets are scheduled for a big matchup with Century on April 17th.
