Beulah softball capitalized on several Wilton-Wing errors to secure a 12-6 on Monday.
Already with a 3-2 lead and the bases loaded in the second, Beulah’s Kayleen Alexander hit a grounder back to pitcher Taryn Schurhamer. The Wilton-Wing freshman fielded the grounder cleanly, but her throw to home went over the reach of catcher Lauren Koski, allowing the Beulah run to score.
Soon after, a passed ball allowed another Beulah run to come across and make the score 5-2.
The miscues continued throughout the game for Wilton-Wing, and Beulah went on to win the game,12-6.
