HS Tennis: Legacy tops Century, Mandan earns first win

The Legacy and Mandan tennis programs walked away victorious in separate matches on Sept. 5.

Legacy met Century at the Tom O’Leary Courts in a battle for first place in the WDA.

The Sabers pulled out a 5-2 win to remain undefeated in West play and take sole possession of first place in the standings.

Legacy’s next match is at the Tom O’Leary courts to face Williston on Sept. 8.

Century travels to West Fargo on Sept. 9.

In Mandan, the Braves earned their first win of the season in a decisive win over Bismarck High.

Mandan won the match 9-0.

Next up for the Braves is a date with Valley City on Sept. 8.

For Bismarck, they are off until they travel to Jamestown on Sept. 12.
