HS Tennis: Majettes stay unbeaten, beat Demons 8-1

Minot girls’ tennis stayed unbeaten on the season with an 8-1 win over Bismarck High on Thursday.

Haya Dodin defeated Bismarck’s Lauryn Andre in the top singles match 2-6, 6-3, 6-2. Raquel Egge was efficient in her No. 2 singles match with Taylor Richter, winning 6-0, 6-1.

Both teams are in action next Tuesday. The 7-0 Majettes will play at Williston, while the 3-2 Demons will play at Dickinson.

Also in the WDA, Legacy tennis edged Jamestown on the road 5-4. Legacy next hosts West Fargo at the Sanford Sports Complex on Friday at 3 p.m.
