HS VBall: Demons look to score upset at Jamestown

National Sports

The Bismarck High volleyball team is looking to score their biggest win of the 2017-2018 season when they battle Jamestown.

The Demons travel to Jamestown to play the top club in the West.

Right now, Bismarck is tied with Mandan for the fourth seed, but the Demons lose the tiebreaker on set wins-set losses differential.

However, head coach Josette Timian isn’t worried about seeding, she’s focused on the fundamentals before regionals and state.

“Working on our ball control so that we can keep control of our side of the court,” Timian said, “because we know that they are going to be under control too. We’ve been working on our blocking.”

The Demons’ match with Jamestown starts at 7 p.m.
