HS Volleyball: Adversity now to benefit Dickinson later

National Sports

Dickinson volleyball coach Jay Schobinger said the team’s early struggles will improve the team in the long run.

Due to several key injuries, numerous Dickinson players have had to play out of their usual positions, but Schobinger said when the injured players return, the team as a whole will have greater versatility and depth.

“It’s tough for some of them to step into those roles because they weren’t expecting it, either,” Schobinger said. “Because we have to put them in those roles, that’s going to be an advantage later on.”

Dickinson is currently 1-11 on the season.
