In high school volleyball, Mandan has had a case of the hiccups lately, but do not think two losses will dampen their spirits.
After winning 11 straight matches, Mandan has lost two of their last four matches. Their conference record now stands at 9-2.
This week, the Braves face Jamestown for the second time this season before heading east to the Fargo Scheels Tournament this weekend.
Mandan feels the key to getting back to their winning ways is turning good defense into good offense.
“If we have a good passes then our hitters are always more ready,” junior middle hitter Lakyn Darras said. “We really focus on defense, but then once our defense comes together we’ll work on the offense on the offense aspect of the game.”
The Braves match in Jamestown starts at 7 p.m.
