HS Wrestling: Century sneaks through WDA, seeks better result at State

National Sports

This Thursday, is a shot a redemption for the Century Wrestling team at the state tournament.

Last season, the Patriots finished second on the team side and the dual side.

This year, Century wants to climb one more rung on the ladder and claim their first state title since 2001.

The club finished fourth at WDA over the weekend so they have plenty of motivation during practice.

“We struggle on stuff week-to-week and that what’s we work on in practice,” 145 lb wrestler Clint Coleman said. “If we are struggling getting off bottom then that’s what we are going to work on practice the next week.”

On Thursday at 1:30 p.m., Century Wrestles the No. 1 seed out of the East West Fargo at the Fargodome.
