HS Wrestling: Dickinson looks to win first ever WDA title with upset of Bismarck High

In Class A wrestling, Dickinson has taken a big step forward after last year’s sixth-place finish in the WDA.

The Midgets have a core of seven seniors this year, and that experience has translated into an 8-0 team dual record to start WDA play… Last night they defeated Legacy, 55-16.

Coach Trevor Conrad says he is proud of how his veteran group has made bigger strides this year.

“I think every year we come in with the expectation to reach our potential,” Conrad said, “and I think this year we’re inching closer to our potential. Our seniors have accepted every challenge, whether it’s a tough tournament or a couple injuries.”

With a win tonight over Bismarck High, Dickinson would win the school’s first-ever WDA regular season title.
