A couple of weeks ago, the Mandan wrestling team got caught going through the motions.
The Braves were upset by Turtle Mountain in Belcourt.
However, since that Dec. 21 defeat, the Braves have not lost a dual, including last week’s 51 to 26 win over St. Mary’s.
Mandan has bigger season goals than just winning dual meets.
In practice, the guys are working on techniques they feel can deliver more pins.
The tem is also listening to what there head coach is saying.
“[Coach] is focused on getting us to be much more aggressive,” senior 170 lbs wrestler Isaac Watson said. “He wants us to take a lot more shots and just to come out and be ready to go.”
On Jan. 18, the Braves hit the road for a dual with Minot.
