Legacy baseball raises thousands of dollars for Brave the Shave

National Sports

Legacy baseball Braved the Shave Saturday and raised over $5,000 for the fight against child cancer.

Almost 20 people got their heads shaved at Simle Middle School, including 16-year-old second baseman Troy Kuball, who said he didn’t hesitate when the team decided to hold the fundraiser.

“I was just thinking about how it was for a good cause, and how I could be like everyone else with cancer and make them feel respected,” Kuball said.

The Sabers next play Tuesday at Mandan.
