Legion Baseball: Volunteers split with A’s, Washburn sweeps Bismarck Senators

The Dickinson Volunteers split with the Mandan A’s and Washburn swept the Bismarck Senators on Wednesday night.

Dickinson won the first game over Mandan 9-7, but Mandan won the second game 7-6.

In the first game between Bismarck and Washburn, the Senators erased a three-run deficit to tie the game in the top of the seventh inning. Post 12 then responded in the bottom of the seventh. With men in scoring position, Trevor Schreiner delivered a walk-off RBI double to right center to give Washburn an 8-7 win.

Washburn then won game two by a score of 10-3.
