Lions downsize

Local Sports

It was an oh so close year last year for the Bishop Ryan Lions boys basketball team that finished runnerup in the state class “B” boys basketball tournament. 20 players were on hand today for the opening practice of the year but despite having a couple of all-staters back in Ben Bohl and Mason Hedberg, the Lions will not only have 3 holes to fill in the starting lineup but will have to work with a smaller lineup after the team lost both of it’s post players to graduation. The Lions open their season December 7th when they host Hazen.
